Okay im here, sore, tired, and some what cranky. Okay all the way cranky headed for P.O. town. What really tweeks me out is that they are trying to recreate the goverment process to the T. It's like "come on people, this is only for a week just vote and get on with it." AND another thing that freaky, most of the boys down here DONT WEAR BELTS!! Its just freaky, i have this one guy in my city doesnt wear a belt and he looks like a flipping toddler. And some just grungy without a belt. I just want to say " Okay i dont want to see your brown whity tidies while i am marching behind you." Okay, and i have actually got into a argument over what a farmers tan is. I said i starts where your short sleeved short ends. Some people think thats called a golfers tan, and that a farmers tan starts where YOUR LONG SLEEVED SHIRT ENDS! Ummm no. I personally have a farmers tan and have a uncle and grandpa that im pretty sure dont wear long sleeved shirts. I ve worked at a vets office and even the vet doesnt wear long sleeved t- shirts. And their like the old farmers do it and im like my grandpa is 64 years old and my uncle is 40 or 41. No didnt actually say that but i was thinking it. But they stuck with farmers tan b/c most of these boys are rednecks like me(okay i might not be full redneck like some that are reading this but i have some from mom.) ;) now back to Boys State. It rained last night just a sprinkle but it was still rain and now its humid. 3 more days. There is a god. I mean we had one speaker who gets erked when some boys quit or complain about being here. Im sorry that you run this camp like boot camp and yes i respect you a veteran and all but when your pamplet and website and employees say this camp is not a military camp but we march and act like some 1/2 decent soldiers your going to get some complaints. I dont really blame the people who dropped out. its tuff up here when you cant sleep during the day, your constaly standing out in the sun, and the older people around you dont have a sense of humor. I mean, i know that some people reading this are farmers and they have to stand out in the sun all day without rec time, but its just tiring when your not constaley doing nothing and your just standing there and you have no clue what is going on. i mean seriously WHEN YOU TALK TO A GROUP, TALK TO THE WHOLE GROUP NOT JUST ONE PART AND EXPECT THEM TO KNOW WHAT THE HECK YOU ARE SAYING. I mean we just stand there and some eldery artillary whatever it is called is speaking to one part of the group and us people at the end dont have a clue about what the heck he saying. I mean you here a sound you just cant understand and your lost. just shoot me now. I have to go and march some more in the heat with a couple of cuts in my foot and eat some hamburgers. AND PROBALY NOT HOMEMADE ONES EITHER. Im dying for something that is homemade. And mom if you are reading this could you please bring thos two water bottles out of the fridge when you come and get me because this city water is fine but city water and its getting old fast. And if you feel up to it, you replace the water out of them with grandmas water for an special treat. Because trust me, nothing beats grandma and granpas water. love you all alot and i hope you all are having fun.
